Considering the discovery of the Shiva-lingam in his fields as a calling from the
Devi herself, Shri Ramachandran, with
the blessings of his Guru
Sri Vidya Poorna Dikshidar
Shri M.V.R. Murti (Kecharyananda Natha
and Professor,
IIT
Mumbai)
and the support of his
wife Geetha Ramachandran and his family, initiated the development of a temple with
Srimadh Lalita Mahatripurasundari
over Dasha Mahavidya
Peetam as the
main deity
with Tripureshwarar.
This main deity is accompanied by
Lord Ganesha, Lord Shasta, Lord Dattatreya, Lord Venkateshwara, Lord Hanuman, Lord
Karthikeya and the
Navagrahas.
The temple design is based on a fusion of traditional
temple culture with modern architecture, and consists of the following three storeys:
·
The basement houses the Dyana Mandapa, also called as
Guru Mandala, and will house Shri Shirdi
Saibaba and Dasa Mahavidya Library.
·
The upper ground floor houses Srimadh Lalita Mahatripurasundari
on the Dasa Maha Vidya Devis Peetam.
·
The first floor houses Lord Tripureshwarar as the main
deity along with Shodasi in the GarbaGruha. Lord Tripureshwarar, who is to be installed
on the first floor, is the same Lingam found in the fields of Shri. Ramachandran.
Also housed around the GarbaGruha are Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, Lord Ayyappa,
Lord Venkateswara, Lord Kartikeya, Lord Dattatreya and the Navagrahas.
The holy and pious
task of the completion of
this temple was performed in August 2010 in accordance with the
procedure prescribed in the
Agama shastras & dharma shastras. To achieve
this in a smooth and efficient manner,
the
Srimadh Lalita Mahatripurasundari
Trust has been
formed. The
Pratishtapana Mahotsavam, followed by the
Kumbabhishekham, was
implemented in a
programme spanning
five days, beginning on August
25th, 2010 successfully with
the blessings of the Devi, our Guru and elders.
We request one and all to participate in all temple
programmes, co-operate
and make them a grand success.
